When we get down to exchanging data with third parties, you’re going to need some power tools. It’s a while before you need them, so you don’t have to download them now, but remember these are here when it comes time.
There also might be other tools you’ll need and will add to this page over time.
Notepad++ is a free text editor with more power and features than Notepad.
WinSCP is a point and click secure FTP client that will allow you to connect to SFTP servers manually.
PuTTY is an SSH and telnet client, developed originally by Simon Tatham for the Windows platform. PuTTY is open source software that is available with source code and is developed and supported by a group of volunteers.
