Grading

The passing grade for all exams is a C or 70%. There is no curve.

While you are not allowed to advance if you do not pass lecture or unit exams, not being allowed to advance is the only consequence. That’s because the final exam is 100% of your grade. And somewhere in America an entire lecture hall of 500 freshmen just groaned. I felt it in the force.

If you choose to obtain the class completion certificate, your score on that exam is the number that sticks with you. Keep that in mind as we continue to grow and start doing things like calculating grade point averages.
